Amaranthe (SWE/DAN) -This band been in constant rotation on L&D since it was founded (with their single/EP Leave Everything Behind) so now you can listen their New full album! Enjoy!. Amaranthe is a Swedish/Danish power/melodic death metal band that originates from Sweden and Denmark. Formed by Jake E. Lundberg and Olof Morck, the project began taking shape when singers Elize Ryd and Andy Solvestrom signed on, as did drummer Morten Lowe. So far, the band has released on demo on their MySpace profile, entitled “Leave Everything Behind”. This 4-song demo was released in 2008. In 2009, the band changed their name from Avalanche to Amaranthe due to legal issues (Avalanche Spain), and has since begun preproduction work on their upcoming debut. The album was recorded during the summer of 2010 and will be released on April 13th 2011. Amaranthe’s debut album is said to be a concept album, according to guitarist/composer Olof Morck.
Stamina (ITA) - The band STAMINA is the brainchild of guitarist and songwriter Luca Sellitto. In June 2001 keyboardist Andrea Barone got a phone call from Luca, who was searching for musicians to form a band. So the two started rehearsing in Luca’s grandfather’s cellar for a few months… Then, they finally succeeded to find a bass player and a drummer. At the time the band was called Eternal Flames. After a lot of line-up changes in summer 2002 bassist Roberto Chiumiento and singer Giorgio Adamo joined the band and Luca decided to turn the band’s name into STAMINA and take another stylistic direction. Since the beginning the band’s aim has been to create a very personal style combining influences from different kinds of music: rock, metal, funk, fusion, blues…So the band’s style can be defined as melodic hard-rock with some progressive-metal and fusion influences. The band recorded the first demo “The demo songs” in February/March 2003, and the second one “Here to stay” in July 2004. Both demos gained stunning reviews on some Italian webzines and magazines and the band tried to spread its name playing live as much as possible in Festivals, pubs, bars and whatever! In March 2006 STAMINA opened the show for English metal band Biomecchanical at Duel Beat in Naples, receiving some good Live report reviews on different webzines. Finally, in September 2006, the band entered the studio to record the debut full-lenght album “Permanent Damage”.It was released by Italian label Heart of Steel records in the end of December 2007 and the response of critic was very good, so that in June 2008 Stamina were invited to play at the Rock in Flames festival in Salerno(Italy), supporting the Fabio Lione's band(Rhapsody of fire, Vision Divine). In October 2009 the band entered the studio to record the second album "Two of a kind". Danish singers Henrik Brockmann( ex Royal Hunt and Evil Masquerade) and Kenny Lubcke( ex Narita, Andre Andersen, Cornerstone etc.)took part on it as very special guests. In August 2010 Stamina signed a record deal with German label Ice Warrior Records(a division of Rock It up Records).

While Heaven Wept (USA) - (L&D had WHW albums but had to convert them and edit them and adding a nice DSP Enjoy!) While Heaven Wept (often abbreviated as WHW) is an epic doom metal band based in Dale City, Virginia, USA. The primary writer and overall engine of the band is mainman Tom Phillips. Their melodic, classically influenced style could be compared to bands such as Solitude Aeturnus and Solstice (the latter of which Tom Phillips is a former member); however, 2003’s acclaimed Of Empires Forlorn saw the band branching out into a variety of metal and progressive styles. This trend continues on their 2009 album, Vast Oceans Lachrymose. "Fear Of Infinity" their newest album is released via Nuclear Blast. While Heaven Wept’s lyrics have traditionally dealt with sorrowful matters, namely, personal loss and despondency.
